Sales Intelligence & Data Analyst (Public Sector)
Amerit Fleet Solutions is a leading fleet maintenance and managed fleet provider in the U.S., seeking a detail-oriented Sales Research & Intelligence Analyst to support their public-sector sales organization. The role focuses on research, analysis, and sales intelligence to help the sales team understand municipal and government fleet operations and identify sales opportunities.

Responsibilities
Conduct analysis utilizing SQL, Excel, BI Platforms and other analytics tools to develop initiatives to improve profitability on accounts, improve operational performance, and financial analysis (Not software development)
Build detailed fleet intelligence profiles (fleet size, issues, outsourcing history, stakeholders)
Research key stakeholders and points of contact
Prepare executive summaries and briefing documents
Support sales planning and opportunity identification
Maintain findings in reporting tools
Passionate about data, analytics, and unlocking the story that data can tell for the business
Highly motivated to identify data quality issues, and to identify opportunities for automation between systems
Partner with key stakeholders to develop actionable performance metrics
Partner with the Analytics team
Ingest and review reporting from a variety of sources, determine what data is relevant to the business, and prepare and present a consolidated view
Develop ongoing key performance metrics to drive efficiency and process improvement throughout the business
Engage with client analysts and project managers to move the program/partnership forward
Use data to help forecast the capital and number of capital assets needed to sustain and grow the business
Driving & supporting existing account growth through project management, analytics, associated tasks/projects, and implementation
Use data to support a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
Use data & reporting to develop professional internal and external presentations. Strong Power Point experience preferred
Qualification
Required
3+ years experience in research, sales intelligence, or business analysis
Strong written communication and executive summary skills
Experience with SQL, Excel, Power BI
Familiarity with public-sector data and procurement
Ability to regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds
Ability to stand, walk, sit, talk or hear
Frequent use of hands and fingers
Ability to feel and reach with hands and arms
Preferred
Experience with Salesforce, Zoom Info is a plus
Experience with AI tools for summarization and research (OpenAI/Azure OpenAI a plus)
Fleet or government experience preferred
Strong Power Point experience preferred
