NOW CFO is assisting a growing nonprofit organization in seeking a detail-oriented and values-aligned Accounts Payable Specialist to join its in-office finance team. The AP Specialist will play a key role in managing accounts payable functions and supporting broader financial operations.

Responsibilities

Oversee and execute core Accounts Payable functions using Sage Intacct ERP

Collaborate with investment portfolio staff and finance team members

Support budgeting, banking, and wire transfer processes

Assist with internal controls and regulatory compliance

Contribute to audit preparation and financial policy drafting

Maintain accurate records and uphold financial integrity

Qualification

Sage Intacct AP moduleBachelor’s degreeMicrosoft ExcelFund accounting experienceAttention to detailOrganizational skills

Required

Experience with Sage Intacct AP module

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Active membership in a Christian church

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Must be aligned with the organization's faith-based mission

Preferred

3–5 years of fund accounting experience (flexible depending on overall fit)

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
