Responsibilities
Participate in all stages of complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts
Draft motions, briefs, pleadings, and written discovery
Conduct legal research and develop case strategy with senior litigators
Manage case workflow, filings, deadlines, and procedural requirements
Take and defend depositions; assist with expert coordination
Support trial preparation, hearings, and courtroom proceedings
Work directly with clients on case updates, risk assessment, and litigation planning
Collaborate with cross-practice teams on multifaceted business disputes
Qualification
Required
2–5 years of law firm litigation experience
Experience as a Commercial Litigation Attorney or similar business disputes role
Exposure to Virginia state courts; experience in the Eastern District of Virginia preferred
Strong motion practice, research, and analytical writing skills
Virginia Bar required and in good standing
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
Preferred
Deposition and large-case management experience preferred
