Responsibilities
Lead general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month‑end close processes
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and analysis
Analyze financial results and provide insights to management
Assist in developing and improving accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
Partner cross‑functionally to support business initiatives and ensure financial accuracy
Contribute to process improvements as the company grows and operations become more complex
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
CPA preferred (or actively pursuing)
5+ years of progressive experience in public accounting or within a public company environment
Strong general ledger accounting expertise, including hands-on financial statement preparation
Solid understanding of GAAP and internal controls
Advanced Excel skills and comfort with modern accounting systems
