Responsibilities
Quality check of all items picked for shipping
Select customer orders from shelves, wrap/band and flag orders
Label all finished boxes and pallets; load trailer
Follow appropriate guidelines for shipping while ensuring that all products shipped meet neatness and accuracy guidelines
Utilize an on-board computer and wireless radio frequency system
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Assist other warehouse workers in completing tasks as requested by the Warehouse Manager or immediate supervisor
Qualification
Required
Strong knowledge of warehousing with an emphasis on leading and inventory
Experience in quality control and order selecting
Must be able to lift heavy objects (occasionally between 60-75 lbs) with or without reasonable accommodation for an entire shift
Must be able to squat, push, pull and lift (up to 50 lbs) and withstand variation in temperatures within the warehouse
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Must be dependable and a team player
Overtime is required based on business demands; sometimes on short notice
Preferred
Bilingual a plus
