Responsibilities
Defend employers in all phases of employment litigation, including motion practice and discovery
Handle wage & hour class actions and representative actions, including strategy and case management
Draft and argue (as appropriate) pleadings, dispositive motions, and discovery motions
Manage written discovery, depositions, and case-related investigations
Prepare witnesses and help shape litigation strategy for hearings, mediations, and trial
Coordinate closely with cross-office teams to deliver seamless client support
Communicate with clients regularly and provide practical, business-minded guidance
Support settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution efforts
Qualification
Required
4–6 years of substantive experience in employment litigation defense required
Meaningful wage & hour class action experience required
Strong academic credentials
Excellent legal research and writing skills, with strong attention to detail
Admitted to practice law in California (CA Bar required)
Strong analytical judgment and the ability to manage competing deadlines
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively across offices
