Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day tax operations, ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient delivery of tax compliance and advisory services
Manage and optimize workflows, capacity planning, deadlines, and utilization across tax teams
Partner with tax leadership to improve processes, implement best practices, and support scalable growth
Monitor quality control standards, review procedures, and risk management across engagements
Support technology adoption and process automation initiatives related to tax systems and workflows
Lead, mentor, and develop managers and senior staff, fostering accountability and performance excellence
Collaborate cross-functionally with audit, advisory, and administrative teams to align operational priorities
Analyze operational metrics and reporting to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA strongly preferred
10+ years of public accounting experience, with exposure to tax operations, management, or practice leadership
Strong understanding of individual, partnership, and corporate tax workflows
Demonstrated experience managing teams, deadlines, and complex operational structures
Proven ability to drive process improvement, standardization, and efficiency initiatives
Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
