Sales Representative, Data Centers
Sabre Industries, Inc. connects and powers America’s communities with utility and telecom solutions. The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales and market development in the Data Center industry, managing customer relationships, and executing business strategies for the assigned territory.
Responsibilities
Responsible for sales, business development, and customer relations, outside sales rep activities and is “hands-on” in each of these areas as required
Identifies and drives the development of new market opportunities in the designated segment and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration. Follows investments and upcoming large projects
Drive the planning and effective execution of business unit sales and market development strategies for assigned territory
In-depth knowledge and connections in the Data Center industry
Subject Matter Expertise: You know the details of customers, legislation, market trends, pricing and have detailed knowledge of applications of Sabre products within the ecosystem
Drive the contract management process by managing relationships and having through understanding of territory
Preparing sales forecasts, analyzing industry and market trends, and acting as the focal point for insuring that sales and marketing objectives are accomplished on time and within budget
Communicate performance issues in a timely manner so they can be addressed expeditiously
Provide timely sales and business development projections and reports for assigned segment to management
Segment Ownership around sales and market development issues. Recommend opportunities, product packaging and surveying customer needs
Ensure soundness and maintenance of key customer relationships and business
Assist in the preparation and monitoring of sales budget and address variances and other budget related issues for assigned territory
Proved price management by evaluating market, updating current agreements, and ensuring accuracy of price model agreements
Propose policies and procedures to improve sales and marketing efforts and efficiency
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
Complete other assignments as required and provide assistance to management when requested
Qualification
Required
2+ years of sales or business development experience into the Data Center Industry
Ability to drive successful sales or market development by establishing goals and objectives, developing, and managing clients, building a strong sales force, managing customer service and project management activities
Ability to effectively lead Cross Function teams
Ability to function as a change agent to quickly develop, organize, and streamline sales and marketing operations
Strong conflict resolution skills
Strong presentation skills
Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to assess a variety of abstract facts, ability to formulate reasoned alternatives and positively communicate decisions and solutions
Ability to drive win-win outcomes for both Sabre and our clients
Ability to travel up to 50%
Demonstrated ability to work with frequent interruptions in workflow and constantly changing priorities
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time with the ability to move throughout the office or outside manufacturing plant as needed
Must be able to perform physical activities that require use of fingers, hands and arms, such as sitting, typing, using office equipment and reaching. Some additional physical activities may require walking, stooping, bending, twisting and handling of materials
Position requires manual dexterity, arm-hand steadiness and a safety-minded individual
Must have the ability to concentrate on tasks for long periods of time and be able to observe and receive information from all relevant sources
Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing as well as answer telephones and greet customers
