Compensation Analyst
Peak Performers is seeking an experienced Compensation Analyst to join their client's team on a temporary contract basis. This role involves conducting comprehensive compensation studies and providing actionable insights to guide HR decision-making on compensation strategy.

Responsibilities
Conduct compensation studies, including gathering and analyzing data, benchmarking compensation levels, and presenting findings and recommendations to HR leadership
Ensure all compensation practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations
Provide detailed reports and actionable insights to guide HR decision-making on compensation strategy
Collaborate with senior management and HR teams to evaluate and enhance compensation programs
Manage multiple priorities, ensuring the timely and accurate completion of compensation-related tasks
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Human Resources, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in employee compensation
In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations concerning employee compensation
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with senior management
Proven leadership and team management abilities
Superior time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Preferred
CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) and/or CEBS (Certified Employee Benefit Specialist) as well as SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) are preferred
At least 2 years of experience in the government sector is preferred
