Responsibilities

Supports project manager and project superintendent in managing the overall construction project
Takes a proactive leadership role in managing project set-up and planning, project controls, procurement, schedule, budget, project administration, close-out, and other project responsibilities
Supports and manages project team with quality control, safety, and project meetings
Builds and maintains strong relationships with field associates, entire project team, and client
Supports and assists with the site-specific safety plan with assistance from the project team and safety department
Supports and assists with site safety walks, documentation, and corrective actions (safety self-assessments)
Leads by example and ensures safety is the highest priority on the project, holds self accountable for process deliverables
Supports the ORM process and daily documentation
Ensures trade partner site safety requirements are received and in place prior to starting work
Ensures a review of the Hazardous Building Material Survey(s) has been conducted
Supports and assists with potential High-Risk Activities and helps with the preliminary planning
Supports in the Project Start Up meeting
Leads and manages the overall submittal process (procurement letters, submittal register, itemized date requirements, submittal review and compliance, documentation, and continuous/weekly follow-up)
Supports and manages development and implementation of overall site-specific project plans
Leads, manages, and prepares internal and external project meetings, distributes meeting minutes and attachments in a timely manner
Supports and ensures all documentation for the project are set up, filed, maintained, organized, and up-to-date
Supports and ensures drawings, specifications, and site-specific plans, etc. are up to date and filed
Supports and ensures regular photo documentation is being conducted
Supports and ensures any change or field as-builts are documented
Supports and/or leads documentation processes: Meeting, Procurement, RFI, Schedule, etc
Supports and leads development and preparation of Projection and Deep Dive Packet with minor assistance from Project Manager and follows up on action items
Attends and participates in Projection and Deep Dive meeting(s) with project team, supporting visit plans
Leads and manages the overall development and execution of the procurement process
Supports and leads reviewing the monthly Logistics Center invoice, comparing to onsite tools and project budget
Supports and assists with the Logistic Center equipment utilization plan
Support and assists self-perform with schedule, unit tracking, budget, and procurement coordination
Supports and leads use of Building Performance Solutions services relevant to project
Organizes and executes punch list process and assists with close out
Builds and maintains superior relationships with clients, design team, trade partners, and associates
Participates in community and professional associations
Represents the company in a professional manner at all times
Escalates issues/conflicts and follows through to positive resolution
Contributes to a high performing team
Supports the overall project schedule process
Assists with schedule coordination for trade partners, vendors, and site staff weekly
Supports and leads weekly look ahead schedules, sequencing, phasing, and adjustments
Supports and assists in updating master schedule and documentation of delays are in the schedule
Supports weekly schedule updates with appropriate level of detail for the look-ahead and master schedule
Properly and effectively communicates the schedule to project stakeholders
Supports Superintendent to ensure owner & trade partner contracts are in place prior to starting any work
Supports project leaders to ensure FWD's are in place prior to any extra work being started
Supports and assists with overall delay documentation processes (permit, weather, trade partner, etc.)
Identifies and supports risk mitigation plans within scope responsibilities
Supports budget set up for General Conditions and General Requirements
Reviews and updates project budget with oversight from Project Manager
Reviews weekly labor and material reports identifying and reporting discrepancies
Supports, prepares, and assists with Pay Applications and trade partner invoice reviews, and compares contracts
Supports the workflow of the Field Work Directive process
Supports the workflow of the Change Order Management process (PCO and COR)
Assists with initial budget set up

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Proficiency in computer applications, preferably Microsoft Office
Exposure to/ability to use Procore
