Responsibilities

Work as a hands-on cloud/software engineer, developing and maintaining features such as:
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Build and release platforms
Customer-facing cloud-enabled features
Design and deploy scalable, highly available, secure, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS
Maintain and ensure compliance in high-performance production environments
Deliver reliable and maintainable solutions by writing clean, testable code
Actively participate in planning, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain, test, and implement disaster recovery and business continuity procedures
Perform infrastructure upgrades and updates to maximize system efficiency while minimizing downtime

Required

7+ years of experience working with AWS cloud services and infrastructure
Strong hands-on experience with: AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Auto Scaling, ECS, Terraform, Serverless architectures
Strong cloud fundamentals with a deep understanding of AWS best practices
Software development experience with TypeScript, C#, Java, or similar languages
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, MSBuild, and Git
Experience working in production, operations-heavy environments, aligned with DevOps and SRE principles
Prior experience working in compliant environments (e.g., CJIS, FedRAMP, or similar)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Clear and confident English communication skills (written and verbal)

Preferred

Experience with monitoring and observability tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, New Relic, etc.)
Hands-on experience designing disaster recovery strategies for mission-critical systems
Exposure to security-first architectures and cloud governance models
Experience supporting SaaS platforms with high availability and uptime requirements
