Heater (Applications) Engineer I-II (30851)
Ebara Technologies is seeking a Heater (Applications) Engineer I-II to provide technical support and application guidance to customers and internal teams. This role focuses on product configuration, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting while assisting more experienced engineers on customer engagements and technical projects.

Responsibilities
Assist customers and internal teams with product selection, configuration, and application setup
Support troubleshooting of basic to moderately complex application issues
Assist in evaluating product performance in customer applications
Support system integration and validation activities
Assist in creating and maintaining:
Application notes
Technical presentations
Test reports and datasheets
Design and develop heater systems connecting fab tools to vacuum and abatement systems in semiconductor manufacturing
Interpret customer drawings to select and specify appropriate heater components
Collaborate with third-party vendors to develop custom heater jackets as needed
Define electrical requirements, including total amperage and power distribution specifications
Review technical drawings for accuracy and create models and drawings using SolidWorks
Support a fast-paced, high-growth semiconductor manufacturing environment
Document customer requirements, test results, and issue resolutions
Update internal knowledge bases and application guidelines
Provides follow-up support in disseminating technical information on specific applications. (Essential)
Complies with EBARA’s safety policies, including participation in and completion of all required safety training. (Essential)
Maintains clean and safe working environment compliant with Ebara and customer safety policies. (Essential)
Performs other duties as assigned. (Non-Essential)
Qualification
Required
The ability to lift 35 lbs. unassisted from the floor to waist level
The ability to perform the identified essential functions of the classification, including the operation of any machinery and/or equipment that is associated with performing the essential functions
The ability to perform the essential functions of the position in a cross-cultural, demanding, and dynamic environment
The ability to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat of harm to him/herself, others or property
The ability to adhere to EBARA personnel policies and practices, including the attendance and punctuality requirements
The ability to work well under pressure, meet multiple and sometimes competing deadlines, and at all times demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical preferred) or equivalent experience
One (1) to Four (4) years of work experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry
Working knowledge of MS Office products, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Technical curiosity and willingness to learn
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Time management and organizational skills
