Responsibilities
Deliver implementation and consulting projects on time and within scope to ensure client satisfaction
Collaborate with key stakeholders to align project scope with contracted expectations
Conduct system implementations and upgrades with a strong understanding of departmental procedures and guidelines
Guide clients through decision-making using industry best practices to maximize efficiency
Provide client training as part of implementation and upgrade initiatives
Contribute to continuous process improvement through client and internal feedback
Travel to client sites as needed to install software products in accordance with department standards
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the entire client lifecycle
Resolve project issues and escalate to senior staff or management when appropriate
Collaborate with and mentor other Professional Services Consultants
Effectively organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Complete additional projects and responsibilities as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in Chemical, Biological, or Environmental Sciences, Information Technology, or a related field
3–5 years of experience working in an environmental laboratory (water, air, or soil)
3–5 years of experience building laboratory test codes and workflows
3–5 years of experience writing SQL queries and working with programming languages (PL/SQL)
Preferred
5+ years of experience working with LIMS
1+ year of experience with programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python
1+ year of experience in a consulting or software implementation environment
Experience or exposure to AI tools (e.g., Copilot) to enhance productivity, processes, and communication
