Responsibilities
Serve as Treasurer of the Board and provide financial oversight
Review and present financial statements, budgets, and cash flow updates to the Board
Support budget development and long-term financial planning
Help establish and monitor internal financial controls and policies
Partner with external accountants, bookkeepers, or auditors as needed
Support compliance with nonprofit financial and reporting requirements
Participate in quarterly board meetings and serve on relevant committees
Qualification
Required
Experience in accounting, finance, audit, or financial management
Comfort reviewing financial statements and asking informed questions
Strong judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to transparency
Preferred
Nonprofit experience is helpful but not required
