Required

Minimum eight (8) years of combined post-baccalaureate research and research management experience
Minimum one (1) year of research, demonstrating independence in research project/program execution must be represented in the minimum eight (8) years of combined post-baccalaureate research and management experience
Bachelor's degree in the health, behavioral or basic sciences from an accredited college or university
Strong self-motivation and initiative with ability to set goals and judge results in accordance with the highest standards
Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and confidentiality
Analytical skills to address complex issues, problem-solve independently and to provide long-range planning on a variety of matters
Writing and communication skills to effectively produce administrative and scientific reports, proposals and letters
Excellent interpersonal skills to work with diverse groups of individuals, to effectively provide information, to make metric-based decisions, and to identify problems and develop feasible solutions
Intermediate or advanced computer, spreadsheet, and database skills
Demonstrated strength in building and articulating a vision and setting goals
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills to understand and anticipate the impact and opportunities across multiple critical projects
Experience presenting findings/recommendations to Executive level audiences

Preferred

PhD degree in the health, behavioral or basic sciences from an accredited college or university with at least 2-years of experience as a Principal Investigator and 4-years of research management experience post successful completion of a PhD degree
Concurrent Principal Investigator and research management experience will be considered if combined experience includes 2-years as a Principal Investigator and 4-years of research management experience
In addition to the PhD, an MBA in the health sciences is preferred
Experience with LEAN Six Sigma process improvement in a healthcare/research setting
Experience working with RedCAP database
