Supporting the management of our natural resources, focusing on wildfire prevention and suppression
Engaging in various activities related to timber, wildlife, recreation, watershed, and conservation
Performing forest assessments and gathering field data through GPS and GIS technology
Working in collaboration with service foresters, external agencies, and partners to enhance initiatives within the Tuscarora Forest District
Qualification
Required
An associate's degree in forest technology; or
Completion of equivalent formal education in forestry
Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 5 months of graduating with a qualifying degree
This position requires possession of a valid PA non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent
You must be able to perform essential job functions
