Responsibilities
Perform development and maintenance activities for the Pennsylvania Tax Hub (PATH) system
Planning, controlling, directing, and implementing development projects
Providing leadership to project staff throughout the systems development life cycle
Ensuring effective utilization of hardware, software, personnel, and other resources in meeting goals
Gathering requirements and performing system analysis, design, documentation, development, and testing
Qualification
Required
One year as an Applications Developer 2 or Computer Programmer 4 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
Five years of information technology experience that includes three years of experience in applications development or applications maintenance; or
Three years of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, and an associate's degree in any information technology field; or
One year of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, and a bachelor's degree in any information technology field; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training
This particular position also requires three or more years of full-time professional experience working with C#
This particular position also requires three or more years of full-time professional experience working with Microsoft SQL Server
This particular position also requires three or more years of full-time professional experience working with .Net Framework 4.7 and above
You must meet the PA residency requirement
You must be able to perform essential job functions
This position will have access to Federal Tax Information (FTI) and is subject to the provisions of IRS Publication 1075 (Pub 1075) which requires you to pass an enhanced background check prior to beginning employment
