Manager, Facilities, Maintenance & EHS

Crestview Aerospace is a manufacturing organization working closely with major aircraft and weapon systems OEMs. The Facilities, Maintenance & EHS Manager is responsible for ensuring safe, compliant, and reliable manufacturing operations, overseeing facility operations, maintenance programs, and EHS compliance at the Crestview, FL facility.

Responsibilities

Oversee all facility operations including buildings, utilities, HVAC, compressed air, electrical systems, and grounds
Manage facility projects such as renovations, expansions, equipment installs, and layout changes
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and landlords as applicable
Ensure facility readiness to support production, quality, and delivery commitments
Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for CNC machines, tooling, and manufacturing equipment
Develop and track equipment uptime, downtime, and maintenance KPIs
Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance budgets
Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for equipment failures impacting production
Partner with Operations and Finance teams to manager required capital expenditure projects from identification and justification through installation and final acceptance
Own site EHS programs including OSHA compliance, hazard identification, risk mitigation, and incident investigation
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations (OSHA, EPA, DOT, fire codes, etc.)
Lead safety training, toolbox talks, emergency response drills, and safety committee activities
Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials and waste
Support internal and external audits (AS9100, FAA, customer audits, OSHA, insurance)
Maintain safety data sheets (SDS), permits, inspections, and compliance records
Partner with Quality and HR on corrective actions, training records, and continuous improvement initiatives
Lead and develop maintenance and facilities personnel (internal or contract)
Promote a proactive safety culture across production, quality, and support teams
Collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and HR to support business objectives

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Safety, Industrial Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5-8+ years of experience in facilities, maintenance, and/or EHS leadership within a manufacturing environment
Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and general industrial safety standards
Experience supporting regulated or audited environments (aerospace, defense, automotive, or similar)
Proven ability to manage contractors, budgets, and multiple priorities in a fast-paced production setting
Strong leadership capabilities with experience motivating teams, driving alignment, and executing initiatives in support of organizational goals

Preferred

Aerospace manufacturing experience (AS9100, FAA, NADCAP exposure a plus)
EHS certifications (OSHA 30, CSP, ASP, CHMM, or similar)
Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance analytics
Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement background
