Responsibilities
Manage End-to-End Contracting Activities – Support the full contract lifecycle, including intake, drafting, review, negotiation, execution, and renewal of licensing, services, consulting, and vendor agreements in alignment with firm policies and risk standards
Partner with Legal, Procurement, and Business Teams – Collaborate closely with Procurement Counsel, Strategic Sourcing, and internal stakeholders to ensure contracts meet operational, legal, and business requirements
Provide Commercial and Legal Guidance – Advise internal teams on key contractual terms, risk exposure, and compliance considerations, including interpretation of existing agreements and recommended contract strategies
Support Procurement and Vendor Management – Review and assist with commercial service contracts, software licenses, maintenance agreements, and renewals to ensure favorable terms and continuity of services
Drive Risk Management and Contract Governance – Monitor contract performance and compliance, escalate legal or business risks when appropriate, maintain contract records, and stay current on evolving legal and market best practices
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) required
At least 1+ year of experience supporting commercial contracting within a corporate legal, procurement, or finance environment
AM Law 200 experience required
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex agreements
Manage multiple priorities
Maintain exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
Proven ability to communicate effectively with attorneys, business partners, and vendors while exercising discretion and safeguarding confidential information
Comfortable learning new systems and tools
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (advanced Word)
Preferred
Experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro
Experience with DocuSign
