Director of Corporate FP&A
The Intersect Group is partnering with a Fortune 500 organization headquartered in the Atlanta area. The Director of Corporate FP&A will lead enterprise-level financial planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis, partnering closely with executive leadership to drive informed decision-making across the business.
Responsibilities
Lead long-term financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes at the enterprise level
Develop and maintain three-statement financial models supporting strategic initiatives, forecasting, and valuation work
Analyze financial performance against historical results, forecasts, and strategic plans
Lead monthly and quarterly forecast cycles, coordinating inputs across corporate and operational stakeholders
Develop, monitor, and refine KPIs to assess financial health and performance
Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity modeling to evaluate risks and opportunities
Support M&A and divestiture initiatives, including valuation modeling and financial impact analysis
Partner closely with Treasury and Capital Markets on leverage, liquidity, covenants, and impacts from business performance and acquisitions
Prepare and present clear, concise financial materials for senior leadership and executive audiences
Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of the FP&A function
Lead, mentor, and develop team members while fostering a collaborative team environment
Stay current on FP&A best practices, tools, and emerging technologies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
7+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or related roles
Public company experience required
Current Senior Manager or Director level experience
Strong expertise in: Three-statement financial modeling, Forecasting, budgeting, and strategic finance, Valuation modeling
Experience managing and developing teams
Demonstrated ability to work with full company financial reporting packages (not just a single business unit)
Proven ability to present complex financial insights to executive and cross-functional stakeholders
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Highly adaptable, strategic, and growth-oriented mindset
Preferred
MBA or advanced degree (preferred, but flexible for the right experience)
Investment banking background is highly attractive (though not required)
Experience with financial systems such as OneStream, Hyperion, or similar tools
Professional certifications such as CFA or CPA
