Training and Technical Assistance Coordinator
Amity Foundation is seeking a Training and Technical Assistance Coordinator to assist with the selection and training of TPA subrecipients/Grantees. The role involves planning and implementing training programs, ensuring compliance with policies, and preparing reports on training activities.

Responsibilities
Plan, organize and implement effective training and technical assistance series (webinars or in person) for TPA Grantees on a variety of topics, which may include but is not limited to contract compliance, fidelity to modality services, how to address and enter data for reporting, developing pre- and post- surveys, hiring and background checks, financial documentation, writing and implementing COVID policies, how to manage a budget, IT infrastructure and security, quarterly reporting, milestone adjustment, how to request a budget amendment, assessment tools such as tracking stories, public relations, publicity, board development, measuring success, contract review, policies and procedures resources, personnel practices, OMB Circulars, audit preparation, HIPAA, and FERPA
Coordinate with professional staff or subject matter specialists to develop in-service training programs, identify training needs, structure content and sequence of training, and select relevant materials for training
Assist with overseeing the capabilities of the program, ensuring that accommodations and training and technical assistance will be made to meet individual and/or special needs of TPA Grantees Service Providers
Prepare reports and maintain files on training programs and activities and attendance and effectiveness measured through a brief pre and post learning objective questionnaire or other measure
Disseminate information on changes or updates to contract rules, regulations, policies & procedures that might impact program operations
Ensures compliance with Amity policies and procedures, with administrative and fiscal regulations in accordance with contract provisions
Attends and participates in Amity community building functions
Additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in behavioral health field or equivalent and one year experience in service delivery to marginalized communities such as the reentry population; OR High School diploma or equivalent G.E.D., and a combination of Behavioral health education and work experience totaling a minimum of five years
Driver's Licenses
Must be a self-starter with the capacity to coordinate projects without intense supervision
Demonstrated ability to research, understand and explain complex technical assistance topics listed above
Demonstrated ability to set up and host effective webinars using zoom or another online platform
Demonstrated and effective working knowledge of spreadsheets such as Excel, presentation software such as PowerPoint and word processing tools such as Word
Demonstrated strong verbal presentation skills
Ability to establish effective working relationships with staff, groups, agencies, officials, departments and boards
Demonstrated ability to analyze and organize data and prepare recommendations and courses of action
Demonstrated ability to interpret contracts, rules, regulations, guidelines and legislation as they pertain to financial or reporting responsibility
Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally in a clear and concise manner to explain procedures to peers
Demonstrated ability to retain and recall information regarding accounting systems and reporting requirements
Demonstrated ability to organize work to meet deadlines
Demonstrated ability to maintain effective working relationships with multi-disciplinary team
Demonstrated ability to work co-operatively with a multi-disciplinary team
Excellent interpersonal, written communications and typing skills
Ensure that excellence and integrity are applied to professional responsibilities in order to provide optimal services to participants
Understand and appropriately apply Amity policies and procedures, and adhere to agency-wide practices and regulations
Participate in community building activities as appropriate to position, and Model professionalism, effective work habits and responsible living
Within 90 days of hire, personnel file shall document evidence of participation in the following trainings (as relevant to TPA contract): Employee Orientation, CPR Certification, First Aid Certification and an annual Tuberculosis (TB) test, Sexual Harassment Prevention, Emergency Procedures, Confidentiality (Title 42 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 2), Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act (Title 45 CFR Part 164), Signed acknowledgement of Drug Free Workplace policy
Participate in in-service training regarding the background and purpose of the TPA Project and all relevant policies and procedures
Participate in other training as assigned
Ability to change direction as priorities shift
Ability to thrive in an environment that requires one to adapt to changing circumstances
Ability to professionally work under pressure with difficult or temperamental students, faculty & Service providers
Ability to handle mental and emotional stress related to the position
Required travel locally by owned vehicle
Valid insurance required
Preferred
Bilingual, fluent Spanish/English oral and written skills
