Responsibilities
Perform and assist with various interventional radiology procedures including biopsies, drain insertions, angiograms, and line placements
Support imaging needs such as CT coronary, MRI monitoring, and myelograms
Collaborate with a team of RNs and technologists to ensure seamless procedural flow and patient safety
Utilize advanced imaging equipment, including Discovery 740 IGS, to facilitate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
Participate in on-call rotations, typically 1-2 nights per week and 1 weekend every 4-5 weeks
Qualification
Required
Minimum 1+ years Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist experience
ARRT certification required
Proven experience in critical care and procedural areas
Ability to provide moderate sedation support
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Preferred
PALS and Meditech experience are advantageous
Strong communication skills with an outgoing, self-starting, and team-oriented attitude
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment
