Responsibilities
Operate MRI machines efficiently, primarily GE or Siemens scanners, performing all non-contrast exams including routine musculoskeletal (MSK), neuro, spine, and occasional body MRI scans
Prepare and educate patients on the scanning procedure to ensure comfort and compliance throughout
Collaborate with physicians to provide timely diagnostic imaging results, ensuring high standards of care
Maintain a clean, safe scanning environment while adhering to patient confidentiality and proper documentation practices
Perform patient care duties as necessary to support the imaging process
Qualification
Required
Degree in Radiologic Technology
Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification)
Minimum 1+ years MRI experience
Proficiency with GE or Siemens MRI scanners
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association
Familiarity with medical terminology
Ability to stand for extended periods
Preferred
Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience
Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging or Radiology from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) highly preferred; willingness to obtain certification post-hire is acceptable
