Responsibilities

Gaining experience in operant behavioral testing, biosampling, molecular, cellular, and biochemical techniques, physiological instrumentation and analysis, data management, software applications, record keeping, compliance training, and the principles of scientific study design
Learning both general and specialized research skills that will support advancing your scientific knowledge and technical career goals
Reviewing project portfolios and gaining an overview of primary aims and methodologies
Developing a deeper conceptual and practical understanding of research methodologies while contributing to results and reporting

Required

Currently pursuing a bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree in an eligible discipline with an anticipated completion date of June 30, 2026 or have an earned degree within five years of the application date
U.S. military veterans who have been honorably discharged (or who have been medically discharged because of a service-connected disability) and who received a bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree within ten years of the desired start date are also eligible
Strong applicants will demonstrate enthusiasm, adaptability, and a desire to learn
Citizenship: U.S. Citizen Only
Degree: Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, or Doctoral Degree received within the last 60 months or anticipated to be received by 6/30/2026
Minimum Overall GPA: 2.80
