They are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing / Industrial Engineer to join their Manufacturing Engineering team, focusing on improving processes on the shop floor to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.

Responsibilities
Design and improve manufacturing processes, equipment layouts, and factory workflows
Optimize production flow to improve safety, quality, and throughput
Develop and maintain standardized work and labor standards
Support model mix and production capacity optimization
Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives (6S, standardized work, kaizen, problem-solving)
Coach teams on Lean principles and best practices
Support manufacturing transformation and Lean implementation projects
Analyze production schedules, workflows, and labor content
Track equipment and process performance
Prepare reports, documentation, and data insights for ongoing projects
Develop cost analysis and financial justification for new processes or improvements
Identify opportunities to move from manual to automated processes
Research and support deployment of manufacturing and business systems
Ensure new processes are scalable for future production needs
Qualification
Required
Strong communicator who works well with operators, engineers, and leadership
Team player with a continuous improvement mindset
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Organized, analytical, and able to manage multiple projects at once
Strong problem-solving and project management skills
Solid understanding of manufacturing and production processes
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
Hands-on experience with Lean / Continuous Improvement methodologies
Experience in production system or factory layout design
Proficient with Microsoft Office and CAD tools (AutoCAD or similar)
