Responsibilities
Designing electrical systems with AutoCAD
Creating component specs/BOMs
Troubleshooting/debug electrical designs
Programming PLCs, Drives, and HMIs, both in house and at customer sites
Travel to the continental US is required, around 30% of the time
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or 3 years of experience in a related field
Minimum 3 years PLC, HMI, and servo control and integration experience
Experience with schematic design software, AutoCAD
Excellent technical, organizational, and problem solving skills
Ability to manage project hours, schedules, and interface with customers
Some travel is required to fulfill responsibilities
Preferred
Field experience with commissioning and starting up PLC based control systems
Communications protocols with: AB Ethernet I/P, Devicenet, Bacnet
HMI programming skills with software such as: AB FactoryTalk, ViewSE, Proficy
Servo & VFD Drive Controls: AB, Control Techniques, ABB
PLC programming on: AB, Siemens, Idec and/or Unitronics
