Responsibilities
Serve as lead counsel in litigation-focused family law matters, including high-conflict cases
Appear in court regularly for hearings, trials, and contested matters
Manage discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and witness strategy
Support firm attorneys by covering hearings and trials as needed
Develop and execute case strategies that align with each client’s personal and financial goals
Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and client service professionals to deliver a seamless, concierge experience
Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to the firm’s thought leadership and growth
Qualification
Required
JD, licensed and in good standing in Texas
5+ years of family law litigation experience
Strong working knowledge of the Texas Family Code and the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure
Exceptional written and oral advocacy skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with modern legal technology
Self-directed and reliable in a remote-first environment
Ability to work with a team and outside professionals to optimize outcomes for clients
Preferred
Board certification in family law and/or jury trial experience
Experience with high-asset cases, complex discovery, and contested custody matters
