Senior IT Business Analyst - Core Systems - Insurance / Financial - Onsite - MA - no C2C
Incendia Partners is looking for a senior Business Analyst to drive enterprise digital initiatives in their new Digital Experience and Solutions department. The role involves owning product and business requirements from discovery through delivery, partnering with IT and business stakeholders to deliver user-focused solutions for insurance agents and policyholders.
Responsibilities
Lead requirements elicitation efforts, translating multifaceted business needs into actionable user stories, use cases, process flows, and acceptance criteria
Apply expertise to challenge assumptions and ensure solutions aligned with broader business and product objectives
Identify and managed scope risks, dependencies, and delivery impacts, collaborating with Product Owners and project leaders to mitigate issues
Collaborate with UX, development, QA, and business teams to deliver intuitive, seamless digital experiences for agents, policyholders, and internal users
Provide continuous clarification of requirements during development, partnering with development teams to validate business outcomes
Leverage user feedback and data insights to iterate on features and improve digital product performance and user satisfaction
Create materials for Business Leadership presentation as well as roadshow materials to explain the purpose of initiatives and factors in product selection
Qualification
Required
7+ years of overall experience as a business analyst and/or product owner (preferably in the insurance and/or financial services domain) - Property and Casualty is highly desired
Must be technically adept with SQL
Must be have a can-do / hands-on approach to the product
Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills
