2026 Summer Intern-Construction Discipline Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering)
Savannah River Mission Completion (SRMC) is a prime contractor for the US Department of Energy, responsible for managing the Savannah River Site's Liquid Waste operations. They are seeking a Construction Discipline Engineering Intern to support construction field engineering and ensure compliance with quality and design specifications during the planning and execution of construction work.

Responsibilities
Support construction field engineering in the planning and execution of construction field work
Review design drawings and design change packages
Develop work packages and field material requisitions
Inspect completed work to ensure compliance to quality and design specification requirements
Qualification
Required
Candidate must be enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited four-year university, and currently working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering
Must have completed their Sophomore year
Must pass General Employment Training (GET)
Must pass Drug and Alcohol Testing (DAT)
A valid Driver's License, Registration and proof of automobile insurance is required for driving on the Savannah River Site
Knowledge and working skills of MS Office programs and applications
Good written and verbal communication skills
General engineering and building code knowledge
Preferred
A cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above
