Constellation Brands is seeking a Senior Director of Accounting to lead enterprise-level accounting governance, financial reporting oversight, and technical accounting leadership across its diversified beverage portfolio. This role focuses on accounting integrity, reporting discipline, and compliance within a complex, multi-entity public company environment.

Information Technology & Services

Responsibilities

Lead corporate accounting governance, policies, and standards across business units
Oversee financial close processes, consolidation, and internal reporting accuracy
Ensure compliance with US GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and internal controls
Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions and business activities
Partner with Finance, Tax, Audit, and Operations teams on accounting-related matters
Support external audit coordination and regulatory review processes
Monitor accounting risks, control effectiveness, and remediation initiatives
Present accounting matters and insights to executive leadership and audit committees
Guide senior accounting management and controllership teams

Required

Candidates should have at least 25 years of professional development experience, including holding final decision-making responsibility in corporate organizations
Extensive experience in corporate accounting, controllership, or financial reporting leadership
Strong expertise in US GAAP, public company reporting, and internal controls
Proven ability to operate in complex, multi-entity or multi-brand organizations
Experience working with external auditors and regulatory bodies
Comfortable engaging with executive leadership on accounting governance matters

Preferred

Background in consumer goods, beverage, or other regulated industries preferred
CPA or equivalent professional qualification strongly preferred
