Information Technology
Responsibilities
Receive and process orders via phone or fax while providing exceptional customer service to patients and caregivers
Gather and enter complete, accurate patient information into the system
Verify insurance coverage and secure prior authorizations, with frequent interaction involving: Medicaid plans, Medicare, Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), Blue Care Network, United Healthcare, The VA
Process and track orders using our internal computer systems
Obtain required prescriptions for dispensing home medical equipment
Maintain strong relationships with referral sources, demonstrating professionalism and timely communication
Customer Service focused
Qualification
Required
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced medical office environment
Customer service mindset with a helpful, patient‑focused attitude
