Senior Accountant
CFS is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team due to a sudden staffing vacancy. This role requires someone who can operate with a high level of independence, support month-end processes, and serve as a reliable accounting partner to leadership during a transitional period.

Responsibilities
Lead and support month-end close activities, including compiling, reviewing, and validating financial data
Perform and review credit card and account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation
The Senior Accountant will oversee payroll review and PTO compliance, partnering closely with HR
Manage and review accounts payable and timekeeping processes using Excel
Coordinate with department leaders to collect, validate, and approve weekly timesheets
The Senior Accountant will serve as a key point of contact for approvals, issue resolution, and cross-functional collaboration
Provide continuity, process discipline, and hands-on support during a staffing transition
Qualification
Required
Prior experience in a Senior Accountant or high-level Staff Accountant role
Strong understanding of month-end close, reconciliations, payroll support, and AP
Highly detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and prioritize effectively
Confident communicator comfortable partnering with leadership and cross-functional teams
Reliable, accountable, and able to step in quickly with minimal ramp-up
