The role involves leading the design and development of requirements for features, analyzing functional objectives, and providing technical leadership to the team.

Responsibilities
Develop controls solutions for next generation Powertrain technologies
Lead the design and development of requirements for features assigned to their team
Analyze the Functional Objectives related features to determine feasibility of design and provide feedback to Vehicle team
Design and Develop the feature design and requirements for all features assigned
Design and Develop the DFMEA for all features assigned to team
Plan and delivery based on requests from external stakeholders
Participate in all relevant Feature team meetings for planning work and tracking status of deliverables
Work closely with Product Management to identify and prioritize deliverables aligned with business goals and escalate risks to Product Managers/ Owners
Provide an active role in mitigating risks impacting successful team completion of committed deliverables
Work closely with other teams to identify dependencies and resolve risks
Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team
Represent team in front of external stakeholders, customers, and other teams
Qualification
Required
Experience in controls and/or system engineering
Strong understanding of powertrain systems
Ability to lead the design and development of requirements for features
Analyze Functional Objectives related features to determine feasibility of design
Design and Develop the feature design and requirements for all features assigned
Design and Develop the DFMEA for all features assigned to team
Plan and deliver based on requests from external stakeholders
Participate in all relevant Feature team meetings for planning work and tracking status of deliverables
Work closely with Product Management to identify and prioritize deliverables aligned with business goals
Escalate risks to Product Managers/Owners
Provide an active role in mitigating risks impacting successful team completion of committed deliverables
Work closely with other teams to identify dependencies and resolve risks
Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team
Represent team in front of external stakeholders, customers, and other teams
