Talent Sourcer (Consultant / Temp)
Kardigan is a heart health company dedicated to making cardiovascular disease preventable and curable. They are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Sourcer who will proactively source and engage top talent across various functions, while closely partnering with recruiters and hiring managers to build diverse candidate pipelines.

Responsibilities
Proactively source and engage candidates across Research, Development, Quality, Technical Operations, and G&A
Use creative sourcing strategies beyond LinkedIn to identify and engage hard-to-find talent
Build and manage strong candidate pipelines, including employee referrals and passive candidates
Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role needs and share pipeline updates
Effectively communicate the company’s story and close candidate interest
Track sourcing activity and candidate data in Greenhouse (or similar ATS)
Assist in conducting candidate reference check calls
Use Excel and other tools to stay organized and monitor pipeline health
Qualification
Required
5–7 years of experience as a Talent Sourcer, preferably within the Biotech industry
Demonstrated experience sourcing across scientific, technical, and corporate functions
Experience working in both startup and large pharma environments
Strong experience in developing and executing sourcing strategies, with an understanding of competitive intelligence in biotech recruitment
Experience using data to guide sourcing, tracking what works, tweaking strategies, and always looking for better ways to reach candidates
Advanced in using LinkedIn Recruiter to find the right people, whether through Boolean search, talent mapping, or building long-term pipelines
Deep understanding of the biotech and life sciences talent landscape, preferably in cardiovascular therapeutics
Proactive, outgoing, and approachable personality with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong passion for talent acquisition and sourcing; not seeking a general HR role
Enjoys partnering with recruiters and hiring managers, offering advice, insights, and practical support to help find the best talent
Comfortable engaging and building relationships with passive candidates
Highly organized with strong tracking and pipeline management skills
Proficient in applicant tracking systems (experience with Greenhouse preferred)
Strong Excel skills and comfort working with sourcing data
Excellent communication skills and confidence partnering with recruiters and hiring managers
