Responsibilities
Responsible for leading and owning the overall operations of the accounts payable department
Provide leadership, direction, and development opportunities for the accounts payable team
Work with cross-functional teams to identify problems and implement solutions
Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments
Review and reconcile accounts payable transactions and statements
Recommend and initiate process improvement and automation initiatives to streamline the accounts payable function
Analyze accounts payable data to identify trends and recommend solutions for improvement
Oversee system and workflow improvements
Thoroughly review/approve third party invoices and employee expenses
Assist and guide internal clients with processing issues promptly
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
Qualification
Required
5+ years of billing experience in a high-volume environment
2+ years of supervisory experience
Detailed oriented
Exceptional customer services skills
Positive and professional demeanor
Excellent verbal and written skills
Proficient in Microsoft Suite
