Human Resources Business Partner

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is a senior, hands-on role that partners closely with leaders across multiple restaurant brands and a charitable foundation, supporting people strategy, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness.

Responsibilities
Serve as the primary HR partner to leaders across multiple restaurant brands and the company’s foundation
Support leaders across both operational and non-profit environments, adapting HR guidance as needed
Partner with leaders on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and people strategy
Coach leaders on performance management, accountability, and effective people leadership
Build strong, trusted relationships across a broad and diverse stakeholder group
Lead employee relations matters including investigations, corrective action, performance management, and terminations
Ensure consistent, fair, and legally compliant application of policies across all entities
Partner with Legal and senior leadership on complex or sensitive employee issues
Identify trends across brands and entities and recommend proactive solutions
Support performance management processes, feedback cycles, and talent discussions
Coach leaders on delivering effective feedback and managing underperformance
Support talent development and succession discussions
Partner on change initiatives impacting teams across the organization
Ensure compliance with employment laws including FMLA, ADA, wage & hour, leave administration, and state-specific requirements
Provide guidance on policy interpretation and application across multiple entities
Partner with HR Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, L&D) to support employee lifecycle needs
Support HR projects and initiatives that improve consistency, scalability, and employee experience
Champion company values and contribute to a positive, respectful workplace culture
Support engagement and retention efforts across brands and the foundation
Act as a steady, trusted HR presence during growth, change, or transition
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree preferred; practical experience, sound judgment, and resourcefulness matter most
7+ years of progressive HR experience
Prior HR experience in restaurant, franchise, or multi-unit operational environments (required)
Experience supporting multiple brands, business units, or entities
Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
Willingness and ability to travel occasionally to support business needs
