BUDGET ANALYST (Budget Analyst II) - Range 16/NON
The Municipality of Anchorage is seeking a Budget Analyst II. This role involves utilizing Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) for budgeting and financial analysis in a government setting.

Qualification
Required
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent, and eight years of government level experience using Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) to include expenditure/revenue chart of accounts, intra-governmental charges, operating and capital budgeting, or grant budgeting
OR Associate's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline, and six years of government level experience using Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) to include expenditure/revenue chart of accounts, intra-governmental charges, operating and capital budgeting, or grant budgeting
OR Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline, and four years of government level experience using Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) to include expenditure/revenue chart of accounts, intra-governmental charges, operating and capital budgeting, or grant budgeting
OR Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline, and two years of government level experience using Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) to include expenditure/revenue chart of accounts, intra-governmental charges, operating and capital budgeting, or grant budgeting
