Software Test Engineer
Power3 Solutions is a rapidly growing small business that provides signal processing and sensor system integration services to the United States Government. The Software Test Engineer will design, develop, and execute test strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of complex software systems supporting operational missions, involving both automated and manual testing.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement test plans, test cases, and test processes for software applications and systems
Design, develop, and maintain suites of automated tests to ensure repeatable, reliable validation of functionality
Perform integration testing and acceptance testing to verify that system components and interfaces function as intended
Build and maintain test environments for both manual and automated testing activities
Support and troubleshoot dispatch systems and hardware problems, remaining engaged throughout the resolution process
Identify, analyze, and document software defects, and collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution
Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks
Qualification
Required
Six (6) years of experience as a Software Test Engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
A Master's degree may be substituted for two (2) years of experience
Four (4) additional years of Test Engineer experience may be substituted for a degree
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
Active TS/SCI w/ poly clearance
Experience with at least four (4) of the following knowledge areas: Test automation development (or demonstrated software development experience), Performance, load, or stress testing, Data interface testing, User interface testing, Security testing, Code coverage tools, Systems integration testing
Preferred
Proficiency with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, PyTest, or similar)
Experience in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Java, or Bash
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and defect tracking tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Jira)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile or DevSecOps environment
