Digital Marketing Manager
BoardSpot is a board management platform built for nonprofit organizations, seeking a hands-on Digital Marketing Manager to build and execute their marketing strategy. The role involves a comprehensive approach to digital marketing, including SEO, content creation, paid advertising, and email campaigns, reporting directly to the CEO.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute content strategy to establish BoardSpot as a thought leader in nonprofit governance
Create high-quality blog posts, articles, guides, and resources
Optimize website and content for search engines and AI bots to improve organic rankings and traffic
Conduct keyword research and implement on-page and technical SEO and AI-Optimized best practices
Own and optimize Ads campaigns on existing platforms to drive qualified leads
Test and launch new paid channels
Create and optimize landing pages and conversion funnels
Track and improve cost per lead and ROI across all paid channels
Build and manage email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and engage prospects
Grow email subscriber base and launch monthly newsletter
Establish and maintain consistent social media presence
Create engaging social content that drives traffic and builds brand awareness
Establish marketing metrics, KPIs, and reporting frameworks
Analyze campaign performance and make data-driven optimization decisions
Develop and iterate on overall marketing strategy based on results
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in B2B environments
Strong content creation and writing skills with proven ability to produce engaging, SEO-optimized content
Hands-on experience managing paid advertising campaigns
Demonstrated SEO knowledge and experience improving organic search performance
Experience with email marketing campaigns and automation
Social media marketing experience, particularly LinkedIn for B2B audiences
Self-starter mentality with ability to work independently and take initiative
Strong analytical skills and comfort with marketing analytics and reporting
Excellent project management and organizational skills

SaaS marketing experience
Experience marketing to nonprofits or mission-driven organizations
Marketing automation platform experience
Data analysis and visualization skills
Video production and editing capabilities
