Responsibilities

Manages day-to-day research activities and acts as point of contact for lab and field related safety issues for Aubrey Lab projects
Provides oversight and leadership of routine and discrete data collection and data management efforts and quality assurance/quality control related to Aubrey Lab projects
Provides oversight and leadership of general lab and field experiment organization, maintenance, and sensor fabrication related to Aubrey Lab projects
Provides assistance with data analysis and preparation of scientific reports, manuscripts, research proposals, and permitting

Required

High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of related experience
Strong written and oral communication skills
Capable of working independently and as part of a team
Able to troubleshoot problems with equipment
Basic laboratory and data management skills
A valid driver's license
Experience with forest measurement and ecophysiology techniques and equipment including use of sap flow sensors, soil moisture sensors, thermocouples, dataloggers, infrared gas analyzers, pressure chambers, etc

Preferred

BS or MS in Ecology, Forestry, Natural Resources, Wildlife, etc
