Responsibilities
Manage the full lifecycle of engineering documents: drawings, design packages, RFIs, submittals, specifications, and change notices
Control document revisions, transmittals, approvals, distribution, and archiving
Maintain accurate document logs and ensure current versions are in circulation
Administer document control systems such as SharePoint, Bluebeam, Autodesk, Procore, Aconex, or ACC
Apply project naming conventions, metadata standards, and folder structures
Coordinate document flow between Engineering, Construction/Field, Project Management, Owners, Consultants, and Subcontractors
Support audits, closeout packages, and turnover documentation
Generate document status reports and identify workflow improvements
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in Document Control within Engineering, Design, EPC, or Construction
Strong knowledge of IFC/IFR drawings, technical specifications, calculations, and engineering deliverables
Expertise in revision control, transmittals, audit readiness, and ISO-style document processes
Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and document management platforms
Experience supporting commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or infrastructure projects
Working knowledge of Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD file structures, and markup workflows
