Responsibilities
Performs fundamental procurement activities including acquisition of materials, components and services at realistic and competitive prices, which meet schedule, safety and quality standards
Performs price/cost analysis
Provides proposal support
Must have government buying experience and familiarity with FAR/DFAR requirements
Remote employees will be expected to be on-site a minimum of 1 day every 2 weeks to foster our in-person connections and how we engage with one another. This should primarily be used for staff meetings and other team interactions, as well as maintaining relationships with other cross-functional/internal customers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior subcontracts experience; or a Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior subcontracts experience; Or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of subcontracts experience
Strong knowledge of supply chain and procurement
Broad knowledge of project management
Experience managing complex procurements, projects and processes
Experience managing multiple Government procurements in support of multiple Government Programs
Ability to explain, interpret, communicate and achieve cooperation on policies, procedures and practices with internal and external customers
Ability to provide guidance and assistance to other employees
Ability to follow established procedures and policies to perform assigned tasks
Professional judgment and extensive use and/or application of supply chain/procurement principles, theories, and concepts
Experience performing fundamental procurement activities including acquisition of materials, components and services at realistic and competitive prices
Experience performing price/cost analysis
Experience providing proposal support
Government buying experience and familiarity with FAR/DFAR requirements
Preferred
Familiar with issuing supplier contracts to support direct programs above the micro-purchase level ($10k)
Willingness to support supplier contracts above TINA ($2M) with minimal guidance
