The Senior Payroll Administrator is responsible for executing the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all hourly and salaried employees, including administering payroll operations, auditing, reporting, and compliance.

Responsibilities
Process production payroll and manual offcycle checks
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and company policies regarding payroll, taxes, and reporting
Complete payroll-related calculations for new hires, terminations, promotions, and other personnel changes impacting pay
Perform reconciliation of payroll accounts and analysis of pay code-to-GL mapping
Work with an external vendor (ADP) to prepare and file payroll-related tax reports, including quarterly and year-end tax filings
Participate in payroll projects, system upgrades and implementations
Document payroll processes and complex calculations, and identify opportunities for ongoing audits and improvements
Respond to employee inquiries
Qualification
Required
Executing the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all hourly and salaried employees
Administering all aspects of the company's semi-monthly and bi-weekly payroll operations, auditing, reporting, and compliance
Resolving complex payroll issues
Documenting various payroll calculations
Developing and implementing ongoing process improvements
Processing production payroll and manual offcycle checks
Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and company policies regarding payroll, taxes, and reporting
Completing payroll-related calculations for new hires, terminations, promotions, and other personnel changes impacting pay

Excellent analytical and communication skills
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
5+ years performing all payroll functions
