Responsibilities

Develop the Utility (and individual Operating Company) 5-year and long-term billed and unbilled revenue forecasts, present estimates, and business scenarios to support strategic, financial, and regulatory decisions that align with the Utility’s long-term strategy
Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to develop streamlined workflows to manage monthly and quarterly reporting and analysis
Provide in-depth rate and revenue analysis to inform new revenue growth strategies, regulatory decisions, and identify potential risks and opportunities
Analyze rate and revenue drivers to explain forecast variances and trends
Perform the monthly weather normalization process and continuously improve and refine the weather normalization models used for financial reporting and regulatory filings
Communicate and present revenue forecasts and scenarios to executive leadership, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Engineering, or equivalent work experience
Financial Analyst II: 2 - 4 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, banking or the relevant field
Financial Analyst III: 3 - 5 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, banking or the relevant field
Financial Analyst Lead: 5+ years of professional experience in finance, accounting, banking or the relevant field
Proficient knowledge of MS Office, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Ability to work with minimal supervision or within a team environment
Ability to analyze problems and create solutions
Significant knowledge of financial theory and valuation
Ability to understand and solve complex financial transactions
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple time sensitive projects effectively
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Basic knowledge of financial theory and valuation
Authorization to work in the United States

Preferred

MBA
CPA, CFA, PE or similar certificates/licenses
