Electrical Specialist

FaithPro Service Inc is seeking an Inside Sales & Technical Support Specialist to assist customers in evaluating residential backup power solutions. This role combines consultative sales with technical support, helping customers understand their electrical needs and guiding them towards suitable configurations.

Consumer Services

Responsibilities

Speak with outbound leads via phone/text/email to understand goals (outage backup vs time-of-use savings vs solar self-consumption)
Identify key loads and priorities (HVAC, fridge, well pump, essentials panel, etc.) and translate that into system sizing and recommended configurations
Explain concepts simply: kW vs kWh, surge vs continuous load, 120V vs 240V, critical-load panels vs whole-home backup, generator integration basics
Provide clear next steps and move customers toward purchase by removing confusion and building confidence
Answer common customer questions about home electrical systems and backup power setups (panel types, breaker considerations, subpanels, transfer concepts, safe usage)
Review basic customer-provided information (panel photos, load lists, site placement constraints) and flag issues early
Maintain consistent guidance using internal SOPs, FAQs, and product documentation; escalate edge cases when needed
Document every customer interaction in our CRM (notes, configuration, objections, follow-ups)
Use scripts/playbooks, but improve them—capture common questions and propose better SOPs
Work with field install team to ensure clean handoffs and successful installs

Required

Experience in residential electrical, solar, battery backup, generator, or home energy (install, sales, project coordination, support, or service)
Comfortable speaking with customers and explaining technical topics in plain language
Ability to do basic sizing/math and reasoning (simultaneous loads, runtime estimates)
Strong phone skills: professional, calm, confident, and organized
Detail-oriented follow-through (notes, tasks, call backs, documentation)

Preferred

Solar/storage experience (AC/DC coupling concepts, inverter basics)
Experience working with electricians or in permitting/inspection environments
CRM experience (Airtable/Notion/HubSpot/Salesforce/Close or similar)
