Responsibilities
Prepare bid packages
Analyze and evaluate proposals
Negotiate with suppliers (cost, terms, and work scope)
Award contracts
Post-award contract administration and maintenance
Invoice processing
Supplier quality and delivery performance management
Coordination with internal functional organizations
Overall supplier work scope organization and management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Distribution, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Economics or related field
Experience with one of the following: procurement/buying, purchase orders, supplier proposals, managing supplier/customer relationships, negotiations, data analysis
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
Willing/able to travel
Preferred
Familiar with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Department of Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS)
Proficient use of MS Excel and Systems, Applications and Processes (SAP) or equivalent purchasing/ERP system, such as Procure to Pay
