Responsibilities
Conduct end-of-line performance testing, functional verification, and final quality inspection for commercial/central air conditioning units
Operate test equipment and fixtures per test standards and work instructions (e.g., cooling/heating test benches, hi-pot/insulation testers, noise meters) and record test data accurately
Identify abnormalities during testing (e.g., poor cooling/heating performance, refrigerant leakage, abnormal noise, electrical faults) and report/escalate to relevant teams
Assist with basic troubleshooting and minor rework/repair to improve first-pass yield and ensure product quality
Perform daily checks and basic maintenance of test equipment; keep the work area compliant with 5S and safety requirements
Qualification
Required
Able to read basic electrical schematics/wiring diagrams and HVAC/refrigeration system diagrams
Proficient with common tools such as multimeters, pressure gauges, leak detectors, etc
Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting
Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to follow standardized procedures and repetitive test cycles
Strong safety awareness; familiar with electrical safety and refrigerant handling practices
Good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred
High school/technical school diploma or above; HVAC, Mechanical/Electrical, Electronics, or related major is preferred
1+ year experience in HVAC/refrigeration/consumer appliance testing, servicing, assembly, or quality inspection is preferred (training may be provided for candidates with strong fundamentals)
