Responsibilities
Operates two or more types of motorized equipment such as heavy trucks, heavy rollers, loaders and light tractors as a major work assignment
May perform manual work tasks in connection with general construction and maintenance work
May operate graders and heavy tractors as an incidental work assignment
Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Valid State of Hawaii issued Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B
Legal Authorization to Work Requirement: The State of Hawaii requires all persons seeking employment with the government of the State shall be citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States
ONE (1) YEAR of work experience involving the operation of at least TWO (2) of the motorized equipment representative of the class equipment representative operator III (e.g. heavy motorized equipment such as trucks having a factory rated capacity of 5 tons or over, rollers of 5 tons or over, loaders, and tractors such as D-4, TD-6 and TD-9 with bulldozer blade attachments), or any equivalent combination of training and experience
