Responsibilities
Work directly with program customers in the County's CalWORKs or Behavioral Health programs assessing employability
Provide services needed to obtain employment
Conduct workshops
Monitor individual program compliance using an automated case management system to maintain customer records
Qualification
Required
One (1) year of full-time work experience interpreting, applying, and explaining (organizational or government) policies, regulations, or procedures to the public
Thirty (30) semester (45 quarter) units completed college coursework in one of the following fields: behavioral/social science, business/public administration, English, math, humanities, administration of justice, or a closely related field
A list of completed college coursework or legible transcripts MUST be submitted with the application if the applicant does not possess a completed Associate's degree or higher in one the qualifying fields listed above
Qualifying degrees or coursework must be completed at a college or university accredited by any accrediting association recognized by the United States Department of Education
Degrees or coursework completed outside the U.S. must be accompanied with an evaluation report from a reputable credential evaluation service showing equivalency to degrees or coursework completed at a college or university accredited by any accrediting association recognized by the United States Department of Education
Preferred
Applicants fluent in American Sign Language, Arabic, Korean, Mandarin, Spanish, and/or Vietnamese are strongly encouraged to apply
