Responsibilities
Lead and manage teams supporting:
Cloud Administration & Support
Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
Database Administration
Middleware Systems Administration
Batch Operations & Job Scheduling
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and career development for team members
Support the full lifecycle of cloud transformation projects, including strategy, requirements gathering, design, and delivery
Work directly with client stakeholders to define business and technology needs and translate them into actionable technical requirements
Drive operational efficiency and implement best practices for cloud and DevSecOps operating models
Ensure architectural quality and participate in solution reviews to identify risks and improvement areas
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including sales, engineering, security, and business units
Communicate effectively with both technical and executive-level stakeholders
Support the continuous improvement and industrialization of cloud solution frameworks
Perform impact analysis for major changes to cloud, infrastructure, or application environments
Maintain strong partnerships with customer architecture teams and internal technical groups
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in cloud architecture or cloud engineering roles
Leadership experience guiding large technical teams (50+ preferred)
Hands-on experience with at least three or more of the following domains: Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, Oracle Cloud), Infrastructure & network architecture, Cloud security, Enterprise technology strategy
Strong background in designing, reviewing, and delivering large-scale cloud architectures
Experience leading complex cloud transformation initiatives
Excellent written and verbal communication, including executive-level presentations
Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
Cloud Platforms: Azure, AWS, GCP, Oracle Cloud
Automation / IaC: Terraform, ARM Templates, PowerShell, Shell Scripting
Configuration & Provisioning: Puppet, Git, GitHub
Containerization: Docker
Orchestration: Kubernetes, OpenShift
DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Azure DevOps
OS Experience: Linux (RHEL, SUSE), Windows Server
Monitoring & Reporting Tools: Dynatrace, Splunk, Power BI
